Brangelina’s Temporary Texas Spread

Away from their place in New Orleans, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are currently calling Smithville, Texas home.
And while the Mr and Mrs Smith co-star couple are in the Lone Star state as Brad films Tree of Life, their temporary property isn’t too shabby.
The home is 270 acres with a full playground, horses and mini riding trucks – plenty to keep their four children fully occupied.
After all, Angelina needs some way to keep the kiddies out of her hair so she can get her much needed pregnancy rest.

Mariah Carey’s a Chart Topper

Kicking off the launch of her new album on the season premiere of The Hills, Mariah Carey is back on top of the music charts. Touch My Body, the smash hit single on the new album titled E=MC2, has landed at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Carey’s latest single is her 18th career chart topper, and jumps her past rock and roll legend Elvis Presley, who has 17 #1 singles. With Presley behind her now, Carey is potentially on her way to surpass the Beatles’ all-time high of 20 #1 hits.

With all of the buzz surrounding the new single, it’s almost a guarantee that the new album will fly off the shelves when it hits stores on April 15th. Pre-orders are already underway for E=MC2, and iTunes users who make the early purchase can instantly download the hit single.

Pamela Anderson: Not a Fan of Marriage

When it comes to tying the knot, Pamela Anderson has more than just a little experience. But it seems her third failed marriage has finally soured her on the institution.
After working on her new documentary, the “Baywatch” beauty was spotted undergoing some retail therapy on Monday in Los Angeles. Accompanied by a male friend, she stopped at a local restaurant for shopping fuel prior to combing the racks at the James Perse boutique and a few other shops.

Last Thursday, Anderson was in Hollywood for the premiere of “Superhero Movie” when a fan made mention of his own upcoming nuptials.
Pammie replied, “Really? I’m sorry to hear that. I don’t really recommend it.” Instead, she sounds content to focus on being a mom.
Anderson told press, “As for being an active parent, I’m as involved as my kids will let me be. I’m safety patrol mom on Mondays, where I help park cars and help the kids get to their classrooms. I’m multiplication mom on Wednesdays — who would have thought I can multiply?”

Madonna Speaks Up for Britney Spears

She recently told E! that she wants to “go save” Britney Spears, and now Madonna is taking things a step further in the latest issue of Vanity Fair magazine.
Of Britney’s “very painful” situation Madge commented, “When you think about the way people treat each other in Africa, about witchcraft and people inflicting cruelty and pain on each other, then come back here and, you know, people taking pictures of people when they’re in their homes, being taken to hospitals, or suffering, and selling them, getting energy from them, that’s a terrible infliction of cruelty. So who’s worse off?”

The Material Girl, whose “Hard Candy” album comes out April 29th, also opened up about her own tumultuous upbringing in Detroit, Michigan. “I wasn’t a hippie or a stoner, so I ended up being the weirdo. I was interested in classical ballet and music, and the kids were quite mean if you were different. I was one of those people that people were mean to.

Rihanna and Chris Brown: What’s Really Going On?

The day after attending the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards separately, Rihanna and rumored boyfriend Chris Brown did their best not to be photographed together as they spent Sunday afternoon at the Grove shopping center in Los Angeles.
According to a source at the scene, the Umbrella singer and and her beau shopped at the Apple store but entered and exited the computer shop minutes apart.

The insider adds, “Then, while waiting for a movie to start, Chris chilled out on a bench with his hood up while Rihanna and her girlfriend headed off to get a bite to eat.”
There’s been much speculation as to the level of the two’s relationship, with Chris recently trying to pacify rumors of a serious relationship by saying, “We’re not in a relationship or anything.”
But with the amount of time they spend together, it sure seems like something’s brewing.
