According to People reports, the letter to fans on the Spice blog was signed with love from Emma, Geri, Mel B, Melanie C and Victoria after concluding a song best summed up their feelings:

Kanye West’s Tribute to Mama

Kanye West having lost his mother last November, the “Jesus Walks” rapper made sure she was remembered via his Grammy Awards performance.
Following his performance of “Stronger,” Kanye launched into a low-key version of “Hey Mama.” Tears welled up in his eyes as his voice broke throughout the performance.
Later, as he accepted the Grammy for Best Rap Album, West addressed the audience regarding his gratitude for their support. “I appreciate all the words of support, appreciate all the prayers.”
As his speech became more lengthy, producers tried to usher him offstage by playing music over his talking. But Kanye wasn’t having it. He boldly declared, “It would be in good taste to stop the music now.”
He continued, “I know you’re really proud of me right now, and I know you wouldn’t want me to stop ... and mama, all I want to do is keep making you proud.”

Rihanna’s Grammy Night

Now that it’s over and done with, Rihanna can look back on the 50th Annual Grammy Awards with fondness and pride. After all, she took home her first Grammy.
Winning a trophy for Best Rap/Song Collaboration, the “Umbrella” singer also put on a killer performance as part of the night’s festivities.
From the time she arrived, looking ravishing on the red carpet, until the EW after party, Rihanna clearly brought her fashion A-game. She ended the night in a classic short black dress with a frilly sleeveless shawl.
This “Good Girl Gone Bad” may have already accomplished more than she had ever dreamed, but something tells us she’s just getting started.

The Spice Girls Say Goodbye to New York City

To wrap up their New York area shows, the Spice Girls were joined on stage by nearly all of the Spice children at Madison Square Garden last night for a special performance of their hit song “Mama”.
The only Spice offspring missing from the entertaining family sing-along was Melanie Brown’s oldest daughter, Phoenix.
Funnily enough, the event turned into a family dance-along when Victoria Beckham’s youngest son, Cruz, started breaking out the moves - including an attempt to spin on his head.
From here, Victoria, Geri, Melanie, Emma and Mel only have a few shows left.

About D'banj The New MTV Base Africa Best Artist.

“D’BANJ” (KOKO MASTER) Twenty-seven year old D’Banj is a Nigerian singer and song writer as well as harmonica guru, a charismatic stage performer with boundless energy…. D’Banj grew up listening to Fela’s music, “his mentor” and he has performed at Femi Kuti’s new AFRIKAN SHRINE in Lagos as well as the Shrine Synchro System’s regular London Night at Cargo. He also performed at the Black President Concert in memory of Fela’s art and legacy at the Barbican in London. Without ever turning into a carbon copy of his hero, D’Banj brings Afrobeat to life and into the 21st century with breathless enthusiasm as well as a good dose of humor. All of his songs are based on true life stories of his own life, often hilarious but with a deeper meaning which documents the struggle of a young African trying to achieve his dreams. In his case is to be a successful artiste/musician. D’Banj is music and music is D’Banj. He performs in Yoruba, English and like his hero Fela Kuti in Pidgin English and has performed his songs as guest at various JJC & 419 Squad shows including WOMAD River mead. Whilst being a charming, easy-going and humble young man, D’Banj has just one ambition; to be the biggest living African artiste in the world. With his first album titled NO LONG THING which was produce by young and talented producer; Don Jazzy which has hit tracks like; TONGOLO, MOBO LOWO WON, ALL THE WAY, SOCOR & AIRBORNE, an infectious Afrobeat tune with a juju edge, the dream is not far fetch. D’Banj was born as Dapo Daniel Oyebanjo in the Northern city of Zaria, Kaduna State, Nigeria to an artillery officer and a church dignitary whom hailed from Shagamu in Ogun State. Due to his father’s job, D’Banj moved several times within Nigeria as well as abroad to India. He was sent to Nigerian military school at age 11 and was expected to enter the military like his father, but at 14 D’Banj picked up a weapon of different kind and altogether more peaceful; the harmonica. He was introduced to this instrument by his late brother who tragically died in a plane crash at age 17. His brother’s harmonica was one of his possessions recovered after the incidence and D’BANJ started to cherish it. His incredible harmonica skills are self taught; he says, “I play the harmonica like it was built for me”. D’Banj became more and more involved in music and he cannot see himself doing anything else with the same passion. His song “All The Way” is about the struggles he has faced with his parents over his chosen career. Dapo has now adopted the elegant, almost French-sounding name “D’Banj”, a combination of his first name Dapo and his surname Oyebanjo. He has recorded songs with established artistes like Ruggedman, SID, JJC & 419 Squad among others. He has also performed along side many international artiste here in Nigeria; Bennie Man, Wayne Wonder etc. He will also perform alongside Ja Rule come December 16th, 2005. D’Banj just won the recently concluded Kora Awards, 2005 as the MOST PROMISING MALE ARTISTE of the syear in South Africa for his effort. D’Banj is a natural charismatic, energetic and infectious performer that can hold his audience to ransom for as long as he wants because nobody ever gets tired of listening to him. He is a kind of artiste that can do more than hold his own any time. D’Banj is the KOKO………..NO LONG THING!
D'banj Rocks, No long thing.

Britney Spears Hates Underwear

It’s getting to be routine - pictures of Britney Spears’ panty-less crotch as she emerges from her car. And you’d think by now she would’ve figured it out.
Last night the “Gimme More” singer gave the paparazzi plenty of footage of her ‘goodies’ as she got out of her Cadillac Escalade on her way to the B2V Borrelli-Vo Salon.

Brit wore a grey off-the-shoulder sweater dress with her usual “I’m a rock star” sunglasses. And while she seems to enjoy these trips to the salon, according to insiders, she’s miserable without her kids.
A source told press, “She desperately wants the kids. She cries about it. She hasn’t put the children’s belongings away. Her home has pictures of her kids everywhere. She loves them very much.”
The “Toxic” mommy hasn’t seen Jayden James or Sean Preston since the night of January 3rd when she was carted away to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center’s psych ward. But there could be an end to this ordeal in the not-too-distant future.
According to an insider, “There’s been a real change in how she is because she has been smothered in love. To suddenly know after all this time that she has support has been incredible for her.

Celine Dion in South Africa.

She had an uber-successful run in Las Vegas over the past few years, and now Celine Dion is back to touring.
The “My Heart Will Go On” singer was spotted in Johannesburg, South Africa during the first leg of her world tour earlier today.

She and her husband Rene Angelil and their son Rene Charles hit up the Monte Casino for a performance of “The Lion King.”
The day before, Celine and fam were in Soweto, South Africa doing some charity work with the African’s Children Feeding Scheme.

You can see from this picture below that she had a wonderfull time .
Celine Dion is still the best soul or pop singer, She rocks.

JoJo Sets the Record Straight.

Wearing a cute grey blazer over a hot pink top, a styled-up Joanna “JoJo” Levesque was spotted partaking in a New York City shopping spree to kick off her President’s Day weekend.
And while the Foxborough singing sensation has been staying away from the spotlight as of late, she has recently voiced her unhappiness over inaccuracies in her online Wikipedia bio.

Apparently, JoJo is feeling hot and bothered by the claim that she turned down the Hannah Montana TV role that’s made Miley Cyrus a millionaire.
“This is not true,” JoJo told on her MySpace page. “I was not interested in doing a television show like that because I did not want to be that kind of artist. I am more concerned with being a legitimate artist - not one created for the captive tween audience from a television show.”
And about that rumored romance with Joe Jonas? “No, we are not dating,” she insists. “We have been just friends for a couple years.”

Madonna and Her Family’s LAX Arrival

After spending time at the Berlinale Film Festival, Madonna arrived at LAX Airport on Sunday afternoon with her three kids, Lourdes, Rocco, and David in tow.
According to an insider, “After much controversy over her adoption of David from Malawi, it’s starting to look as though it will finally be official in April.”
Meanwhile, the Material Girl is coming off of a big few weeks - as she recently hosted a star-studded party in NYC for Gucci, along with making her directorial debut for the film Filth and Wisdom.
During an interview about her movie, Madge told press, “I have always been inspired by the films of Godard, Visconti, Pasolini and Fellini and hope that I may one day make something that comes close to their genius.”
In the liner notes to Filth and Wisdom, Madonna wrote, “I have always admired the art of filmmaking and the ability to tell a good story. After almost three decades of being in front of a camera, I decided to put my money where my mouth is. ‘Filth and Wisdom’ was essentially my way of putting myself through film school.”
Umm nice one coming from madonna, I like that..

Britney Gets Another New Lawyer.

In the ongoing legal saga that has become her life, Britney Spears has reportedly hired yet another lawyer to represent her in her many legal affairs. And his name is Jon Eardley.
Eardley has been working on the current situation in the “Gimme More” singer’s life - the issue of who should be in control of her well-being, finances, and rights.
He told press, “I see the case as a civil rights case. These are issues of confinement. Very serious confinement. Not allowed to contact her friends. Not allowed to use the phone. Not allowed to come and go as you please. Bodyguards controlling you and so forth.”
But according to an uninvolved legal expert, Eardley may be causing more harm than good. “The saddest part [of the legal maneuvering] is it is all to [Britney’s] detriment. The limited conservatorship puts in place medical care and protection of her assets that may be put at risk by the distraction and expense of having to get such an opportunistic and counterproductive action dismissed.”
He continued, “It’s not like the judge read papers filed by one side and made decisions without giving each side due process. It would be quite surprising if the federal court granted a hearing on this, and a total shocker if it ruled against the conservatorship.”

Well, all i can say is that i personally love britney and her music. I hope all these will come to an end for her someday.

Pamela Aderson Gets Back to Mummy Mode.

After her successful trip to Paris and France, Pamela Anderson settled back into her normal daily routine yesterday.
Playing the ‘mommy’ role, the “Baywatch” babe was spotted at a park in Malibu for her kids’ baseball game. She looked casual and comfy in a loose-fitting white shirt and some grey yoga pants, along with knee-high boots.
And it sounds like the peeps over in France absolutely loved Pammie. Her two Valentine’s Day burlesque performances at the Crazy Horse Saloon (at $300 at ticket) were both sold out, and received rave reviews.
An attendee told press, “She was great. She was totally into it – it was impressive. And the crowd responded very warmly.”
Of the Crazy Horse’s nude female review, Anderson told press, “It’s a celebration of women. It’s done very respectfully, very classy, and it’s a wonderful show for women as well as for men.”
